On my last day in NYC, I wandered into a bookstore (one of the many, many bookstores I frequented on the trip) and discovered this little blue gem*.
Since funds were running low and luggage space at breaking point, I didn't buy it, but it did get me thinking. What if I were to create an e-version?
So I have.
Over here.
I hope you'll stop by and visit. My goal is to write one line every night before bed. For five years. Let's see how we go, shall we?
* I was also sorely tempted to buy the book above it (Talking to Girls About Duran Duran). For now it's on The Book Depository wishlist.

So if one had wanted to gift you said Duran book, how would one go about it?
Gift me? GIFT ME?
Really?
Oooh, well I suppose I would have to direct one to my Book Depository wishlist...
Direct one? Not familiar with that terminology...
Anyways, I see you can email me your wishlist via bookdepository.
I guess that is the easiest though I see one can get a hardcopy cheaper elsewhere but you might not be comfortable sending me your postal address.
PO Box?
Anyways, email to blogger @ pyuser. com
Clearly, the universe knew that I was meant to have the Duran Duran book... it arrived in the mail yesterday - a gift from one of my US friends (who posted it BEFORE I even wrote this post).
Spooky.
Thank you for your offer of gifting though - was a lovely one!
A review will be posted in due course...
:)
Spooky indeedy.
And if auspost was not on their game, you'd have 2 copies!
That was close, no?
Maybe next big birthday then :-).
