It Will Be Written

I was having a little flick through my archives just now and quite randomly came across this.

Or was it random? [insert ominous music to the effect of "bom bom BOM" here]

According to some, there's no such thing as random... when we are open and receptive what we need and what we need to know comes to us in the perfect way and at the perfect time. I'm beginning to identify with that more and more.

I've been thinking about doing more writing and have found a creative writing course which I will enrol in as soon as someone pays me (you'd think with three jobs it would happen, but not yet... everyone is still on their end-of-year break).

So I'm thinking that re-discovering that post is a sign that I should do the course. And in turn, find my vocation (which none of the current three are... they're all a means to an end really).

That's a lot of thinking. Now I need to start with some doing.

Oh and I also re-discovered this post. Which I'm quite impressed with. I have no recollection of writing it, but I found it quite amusing (even if that does make me sound a tad conceited).

A few months ago, I too had a quick browse through my blog "archives" and it jogged memories of things I'd forgotten happen.

Am glad I did make the effort to write them but it does take up a lot of energy (for me).

I _should_ (hate the word 'should') write again so in a few years time I will re-read it and remember. Cos right now, I have no memory joggers of the past 2 years :-(

F-I-V-E!

I also hate the word "should". I'm making a real effort to stop using it... luckily my flatmate is of the same thinking so whenever we hear each other use it we make each other rephrase!
