I just put 7 spoons of Milo into an average sized cup of hot milk. Is that excessive? The amount of the Milo in the tin is now significantly lower, but god its a good tasting cup of Milo.
According to Flatmate A, this relates directly to her topic de jour, which is "Quantity is the new quality". "More spoons of Milo equals greater pleasure", is the argument she just presented to me as she stirs her 3 spoon cup of Ovaltine.
We're a multi-preferenced household of hot chocolate drinkers. A quick poll of the 5 types of drinking chocolate in our house to see which is most popular (ie which has the least remaining in the tin) ranks them in the following order (5 being the least popular; 1 being the most):
5 - Cadbury Chocolate High Lights (Less than 4gms sugar per serve)
4 - Ovaltine (full strength energy drink)
3 - Ovaltine Light Break (99% fat free - just add hot water)
2 - Milo (low GI for slow release energy)
1 - Swiss Miss Raspberry Truffle (indulge yourself)
Flatmate B has just wandered downstairs to put her two cents worth in... she thinks 4 spoons of Milo is too many. But she and her boyfriend ate an entire Sara Lee sticky date pudding in one sitting last week so I don't think she's in any position to lecture me about a sweet tooth. Milo is low GI. There's nothing low GI about Sara bloody Lee. That stuff is poison.
Rolf is on Enough Rope. I gotta go watch Rolf. He rocks. I wonder if he's a 7 spoons man?
